Ragamuffin Collection ~ IOD Designs, Creative Imaginations ~ CHA Winter 2012

I just found this collection tonight...... I remember reading these books when I was a small child.  This paper is a must have for me........ I am not sure I will be able to cut it though because it brings back so many warm memories about learning to read and loving school and learning.

The Ragamuffin Collection is by IOD Designs, Creative Imaginations...... I can't wait to get this paper; and, just enjoy looking at it :-)

Stamp2Cut ~ Tim Holtz Teams up with the EClips ~ More Info

After watching Tim Holtz's video several times last night......... I started doing some math and this seems like a very pricey way to cut his beautiful stamps.......

Ellison, Sizzix's parent company shows 19 new TIM CARTS at $59.95 each........ Yikes..... a very expensive cartridge library for me to start collecting...... and I would need to buy the EClips also.......... and the rubber stamps at $20-30 dollars a set.........  It look as though each cartridge contains about 25 - 30 stamp outlines; and, the carts appear to span several sets of stamps:

See the Stamp2Cut carts at Ellison:

I really hope I am not seeing the entire picture here........ I love TH's stamps, but this is a very large investment for me to able to fussy cut them!!!  I love what Tim Holtz has done for paper crafting, he has given those of us who were soooooo tired of pink and cute some wonderful images and tools; but, at first look, this is going to be a huge investment, even when I take into account I already own a large library of his wooden stamps and stamp sets.....

SkyCandy's Crochet Handwork ~ Too Pretty

Crocheted by SkyCandy these items are so dainty, pretty and soooooooo shabby chic.  I love each one........

A sweet little 5" doily SkyCandy made with #10 Cebelia thread and a tiny basket for a treat. SC loves making little sachets or jewelry bags tied with a ribbon. The little monkey in the basket is a Littlest Pet Shop Pet. Patterns from Crochet Magic magazines.

These dainty, tiny Items would be perfect to tuck into a pocket in a mini album!  I can see the little sachet hanging from a mini album binding with a darling surprise inside.............. Time to get out my crochet hooks :-)

Stamp2Cut ~ Tim Holtz & EClips Teaming Up

There had to be a reason that I haven't jumped on the Cameo and/or Zing bandwagon......yet. In my opinion, both of these cutters got off to a bumpy start with blades/blade holders that just don't give the best results and/or convenient use/operation.  This morning I came across this announcement on Facebook:

Reading the last few lines.......... This teaser seem to indicate that the Sizzix Eclips is going to be able to do stamp2cut with Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Stamps/Images....... Since I have a large collection of these stamps, I am now in wait and see mode........ I have seen the Eclips in action at Scrapbook Expo......... It was capable of small, intricate, detailed cuts..... A LSS which carries everything Tim Holtz, has just put the Sizzix Eclips in its front window.......  The Sizzix Eclips has a large library of Sizzix cartridges and also works with SVG files and fonts via SCAL..........................

When SkyCandy isn't paper crafting, She crochets.....

What a beautiful afghan SkyCandy has made.  The red is just the perfect red....... nice and deep.  I love the pattern.......  I am not a fan of variegated yarns, but SkyCandy's gorgeous use of color in her afghan has got me rethinking variegated yarns!

This afghan is still a work in progress! This pattern is free at; and, is Judith Russell's Lightweight Lengthwise Afghan. SkyCandy used two strands of Deborah Norville Everyday Worsted in the color Holiday for the multi-color. She cut the dark green color out of the original pattern because she likes the pinks and reds more!

I love this afghan!!! It's perfect for winter decor.  It would make a lovely Valentine gift :-)
