Leather Closures for my Mini Albums......

I have been trying to figure a way to attach leather straps as closures to my mini albums.  Eyelets and brads just aren't heavy duty enough to do the job. This morning Zutter sent me an email. This new-to-me product is just what I have been looking for, PLUS, it's on special. Check this video out, I hope you find it helpful:-)

Interactive Sesame Street Birthday ~ Cricut Layout

I can't tell you how I have struggled and labored with the complex layered Disney and Sesame Street Cricut Cartridges. Donna has the magic touch with Sesame cuts x 2!  She makes it look so easy; and, she gets perfect results. Here is her birthday layout for her twins.  She originally used her cuts for table and cake decorations for the twins' 2nd birthday and then repurposed the cuts for scrapbook layouts. The 3 x 3 pockets hold mini albums for more pictures and journaling.......

This is such a clever idea!!!  Laura made this for Valentine's Day from a deck of cards.  Each playing card is individually decorated and inscribed with a love note.  She has the cutest handwriting; and, I just had to share her darling project with you.  What a clever and thoughtful gift; and, such a great way to use all those small scraps we all have that are too pretty to throw away. I tried working with backgrounds and the advanced options Blogger offers last night.  I am not sure what I think of the blog.......... could be way too distracting, but it was fun lookin' at all the graphics Shabby Blogs has to offer.

When I started really giving Shabby Blogs a look, I realized the most of the graphics offered were created by some of my favorite Digi Scrap Artists.......... Thanks so much, Ladies!

Copics......... Copics....... Copics....... Where to Start???

I bought my Copics a few years ago and there really wasn't much help available for them.  A wonderful lady over at SCS had just completed her collection of Copic Pens and she sent me the Copic Chart completed with each color.......  The colors shown on websites often arent true to color.  I knew enough about Copics to be dangerous, so i spent days on the net tracking down color group information so I could start my collection.
